Greetings My Fellow D.A.R.E. Officers,

It is indeed a privilege to be your 2009-2010 LDOA President.  As you know we have a lot of work ahead of us planning the 2010 Conference so therefore we will be needing your support for this event.  I recently sent out a survey to get your opinion on things that you felt would be motivating and inspirational in making this conference a success.  I know that we put a date on the surveys and many of you have not responded.  It would be beneficial to us all if we work together getting all our opinions on how we could make this a really great conference.  Disregarding the date would you please send the survey back to us so we can go over the idea’s at our next district meeting.

On October 30, 2009, we will have our first 2009-2010 Association meeting.  This meeting is a Mandatory Meeting and will be held at the 3325 Groom Rd. Baker Municipal Building in Baker, La. with the Executive Board Meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. and the Association meeting at 11:00 a.m. lunch will be provided by Chief Mike Knapps and the Baker P.D.  Looking forward to seeing all of you there.
